Moose River Deluxe – Cover

( Click here to skip to the start of the main Moose River story )

Moose River Deluxe, currently known as Moose River 0 (I just never bothered to change the name on these pages), is the first minicomic I ever made all the way back in 2004. The full story can be found here (or at least, it will be; it isn’t yet).

As it was the first minicomic I ever made, and the first Moose River-based story I ever wrote, it does have a slightly dated feeling to it. And by dated, I mean that the writing and artwork is starting to show it’s age against my current body of work. But that’s ok, it was funny then and plenty of people still find it funny now. 🙂

In fact, these kinds of “prototype” stories make for a great way to think about the “what if?”s or “what could’ve been?”s, because it shows Moose River is a more archaic, less unified, and definitely more primitive form.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy it for what it is!
