This is the second time where I reuse the actual artwork from Moose River Regular in the actual mainline comic; the art for this page appears on page 44. The script itself is pretty straight forward as well, although it would be Shea who brings it up instead of Anne.

It would be around this point in time when I decided to add more regular characters to the story, as I felt just having Anne and Avery alone would be too boring. Therefore, although the Mr. Whiskers subplot sorta formed organically on its own, I think I used it as a basis to create a character that fit the theme, which ended up being….
