Well This Is No Good…

May 16th, 2007

The computer I’ve been using to make all my comics on is 25% dead. 75% of it is ok, and I didn’t lose any of my originals (thank God), but some of the 25% that’s currently dead is important to my comicing. Which means that I can’t get to any new comics. 🙁

To get technical, the main hard drive of my computer is physically shot; it keeps making clicking noises which is the sign of a dead hard drive. However, I found out that A cure for a dead hard drive is sticking it in the freezer, so that’s where it is at the moment. Hopefully it’ll work long enough for me to grab all the important information from it before I scuttle the drive.

Until then… [fingers crossed]

that’s what i did with my old laptop… it worked, but it was really annoying… good luck with working it out!

Jamie: Alas, the freezing trick did not do the job. It’s still currenty in the freezer, waiting for the day when I can actually resurrect it.

Fortunately though, I can start making new comics now, hopefully just as soon as FanimeCon finishes. 🙂
