ムース川の日本 – iWant iMac

ORIGINAL POST:
02/20/2006
OK uhm… after a lengthy conversation with my friend Jimmy concerning a few things about Muusugawa no Nihon, I feel inclined to clear a few things up about it.

Muusugawa no Nihon, if you can’t tell already, is straight up satire on the psudo-manga/gamer web comic format. It is not meant to try to get people to stop doing it, nor do I expect anyone to even read this for it to matter. However, it still doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be allowed to voice my opinions on the issue nor do a comic about it, regardless of its ineffectiveness. I guess people can argue that it’s a waste of my time to do it, but hey, it’s not like I’ve got anything better to do. … Oh yeah, I COULD be doing Moose River Regular instead. Oh well.

OK FINE, I’ll also admit that I’m taking the oppurtunity to experiment with changes in my comic writing style. As you may notice, Muusugawa no Nihon’s comic frames are different than Moose River Regular’s. It’s probably not something I’m gonna use much in MRR, but I think I’ll use it in one of my future Moose River projects.

Oh and I do want to point out that this won’t be the last experiment I’ll be doing of this nature. Though next time, I promise myself that I’ll be far more discrete about its true intentions that I have been about Muusugawa no Nihon. It’s difficult to test a theory when everyone knows its true reasons. 🙂

It’s cool.

Y’know, in retrospect, I should have used Haisha for this scene and not Chijin. Oh well.
