Uhm…

05/10/2006
I retconned today’s new comic, #64.5. It’s just a few days back. Also the first frame of comic #65 is new.

Right, I got plugged again! This time it’s by T Campbell, who found it through the Bookslut article I posted last time. (He emailed me recently, but I didn’t realize he was a webcomic blogger person!). He has this to say:

“Skip past his Depressing Stories of Depressing People (it’s interesting at first but gets repetitive fast).” (Ouch!) “Skip WAY past his “Muusu-gawa no Nihon” (the title is the best thing about this “attempt to suck like all other webcomics” containing such biting observations as “manga is in”).” (Ooof!!) “And focus on “Moose River Regular,” where he stops trying to be clever and starts getting honest and grounded and, not coincidentally, GOOD.” (YES!)

I’m certainly pleased that he liked it, and even used the word “good” to describe my work. 😀 I just hope some other blogger founds T Campbell’s Blog and plugs my site, and so on, and so on, and so on…. (^_^)

In other news, I fixed up the site slightly; now you can skip entire stories, as well as go to the beginning of the current story. Pretty useful if you want to “skip way past” Muusugawa no Nihon, or check out Moose River Regular from the beginning. I also added a third link, it has more direct access to some Moose River Regular sections, like the Character Guide and Archives. Hope this helps make enjoying my comic a little better!!

Damn you :p

I’m your number 1 fan.

Nah my Gamma settings are fine, , maybe its not the colour rethinking about it, more the size of the text links. Font is a bit small.

I wasn’t overall suggesting changing the colours before it suits the over look of the site well.

Try giving the font a boost of a size or two, every little helps.

As always keep up the good work. Looking forward to the next update.

About the link color… I decided against changing it. Mostly because on every computer and browser I’ve views the site on, the links are clearly visible. Maybe your computer monitor’s gamma levels need adjusting? Plus the colors I chose work best on the black background as well as the light green background in this sidebar thingy. Sorry man…. 🙁

Hey. Nice comic again, it’s refreashing to read a down to earth story with character who you can really relate to.

Also I see you updated the top links and character bios, again good work 🙂

Now if you could just make them links easier to see, so very slow at the moment 😉 heh

Otherwise keep up the good work, I see this story really going places.
