OUTTAKE – I think they first met online

20061127:

Nothing special here, just more about Navy.

20190628:
Wowzers, it’s a real blast going back through these old pages again. Lemme share something with you about the RPG characters in frames 3 and 4.

Back in the day I used to play a great Classic Mac game called Exile 3, part of the Exile series. What’s amazing is that the original devs for the game are STILL around! (You should check out the game in general, it’s a great classic Mac game. It’s also for Windows! Here’s a wiki for Exile as well.)

Anyways, every time I would play Exile 3, I would ALWAYS make the same team of six characters:

  • KENDRA (Human Female warrior) — played by Navy
  • STEVE (Human Male all-rounder) — played by Mog
  • BOSSK (Slithzerikai heavy warrior) — named after Star Wars’ Bossk, played by Jessica)
  • THE WIZ (Human male mage) — Probably channelling The Wiz, but I was thinking more about the movie Wizards; played by Lars)
  • NICK15 (Human male bard) — c’mon, it’s Nick15; played by )
  • JEAN PAUL (Nephilim priest) — played by Brian

And so, I felt it was worth throwing into the story. Too bad this part of the story itself was removed. Oh well.
