I don’t really

EDIT 20080918: This and the next page is the only time in the story that goes against one of the style rules I set for Moose River. The thing is, Anne, Avery, Shea, Betty and Emo are the five main characters. Everything this story records is recorded because it is what those five people see, hear and experience. If something, on the other hand, doesn’t involve those five people in any way, nor are they around to see it happen, then it is not recorded in the story. This conversation between Brian and Jessica, however, is the only time where something is happening and none of the five main characters are around to experience it. Despite that though I still think it’s kinda necessary for the progression of the story; without it I think you readers would be missing out on an important piece of story. Hmmm!

I dunno…

APE is the Alternative Press Expo. It’s held every year in April in San Francisco. It’s mostly for casual comic goers, no hardcore folk. …. Concerning Brian… I don’t think he’s dumb OR slow… but we’ll see what’s what soon enough.

brian is either much slow or just dumb :P

i saw the APE piccy
APE= artist production e…. something?

and wow…. i want to be able to make fake-real scars like that D:

After this chapter is done, I’ll be accepting guest comics (though they may or may not be posted), plus I plan on going through and editing up the comics in this chapter. Mostly bits of bad dialogue that could use editing. Plus, most importantly, I’m gonna start spending some cash on advertising on other sites. I gotta put together some nifty banners first, the ones I got right now are too plain, and since APE I’ve felt compelled to making extremely flashy ways to get people to visit my site (or booth). … Anyways, I’ll be taking care of all that probably by the end of next week (since I have only three comics left).

But really, this is kinda funny. The same thing just happened to one of my friends. Except the other girl had short hair. It’s like MR is coming alive! Now I hope I find my cat (who I havent seen for about 3 weeks) stuffed and full of money soon. :P

HAHA!! Made you

I had something in mind that I was gonna say, but I can’t remember what it was.

Well, one of the things you could do is check out is my APE pictures. I also wrote up an introspective APE report. Woot!

Sooner or later the rest will pop back to memory.

OH YEAH! I really ought to check out other conventions. Maybe some of the smaller ones that cost surprizingly less than some of the bigger ones. True, the foot traffic is less, but it might just be enough to sell enough comics in. There are a ton in SF alone, and a few elsewhere within driving distance. I’d better check them out soon…

Also, the end of chapter 2 is just four comics away. So far 33 pages have been made, and I’m planning four more (just so it can fit nicely in a mini-comic format). Unfortunately, I don’t think I have much room for everything I want to put in it, so I’ll unfortunately have to save the rest of it for another party later on (namely the Cheyenne Shooters).

Hey Emo…

I’m still working on my APE 2006 review and analysis. Monday I spent all day catching up with school and shit. Bleh.

The 4th panel…oh lord. (ell oh ellz)

One day though, she moved out. She

Frame 3 is a slightly altered reuse of an older frame. Expect some more frames from the old Moose River Regular to be tossed in soon.

In other news, check out my shittally written “review” of Craig Thompson’s book Blankets.

Plippy (Mar 11, 2006, 11:49):
Frame 3 is actually now frame 4 in this comic.

Plippy (Jan 26, 2006, 5:02):
Sorry, there was no comic these past few days. I’ve been really busy writing a script for my next short film… and I only have so much Plip to go around. New comics 73% possible for tomorrow…

Plippy (Jan 23, 2006, 20:17):
Ah ok. :P I guess it’s part of my style; I try to make girls fingers pointy and guys fingers blocky. :D

Timbosister (Jan 23, 2006, 18:13):
It’s not so much squiggly as it is heavily outlined and waving. I like stylization.

Plippy (Jan 23, 2006, 15:43):
Squiggly claw hand??

Timbosister (Jan 23, 2006, 10:26):
I’m glad you liked Blankets so much! It’s kind of like a picturebook of every feeling that is necessary. (also I like the squiggly claw hand in panel four.)

Comics #41-43 might get shuffled around a bit; come to think about it, I think it would be better if the Burger Baby thing happened first and the balloon note happened second. :)
