No Comic Monday, Try Tuesday
September 24th, 2007I don’t have a comic for Monday, mostly because I spent most of Sunday helping my brother and dad pack for their trip to the Fatherland (aka Michigan) as well as giving my PSP some well needed attention. In fact it’s 4:30AM right now and I need to take them to the airport at like 5 or so.
I’ll try to spend Monday working on a comic for Tuesday, however.

How’s the web browser on that thing? The PSP, not your Dad.

TOM: The web browser on the PSP is functional, as in, it does the job. Don’t expect many bells and whistles with it… in fact, I don’t think it even plays YouTube videos. But if I just have my PSP and there is a wifi access point nearby, it browses the web good enough.
I have no regret with my PSP purchase, however I haven’t touched it lately. I felt bad about the lack of attention I was giving my PSP, mostly because I can’t afford to buy new games for it, so I spent a good part of Sunday giving it a nice little upgrade and adding in homebrew support to it via custom firmware. Now I can use all sorts of emulators on it, including the ability to play downloaded PSP games (downloaded instead of buying; uh-oh, illegal!!!). However, I need to get a larger Memory Stick for the PSP in order to play a majority of PSP games avaliable. Fortunately UMD discs max out at 1.25gb or so, so a 2gb Memory Stick should be enough for me. 🙂

Is there something for the PSP that runs MAME? I need to be able to play “Crazy Climber” anytime, anywhere.

TOM: I’m sure there is, but I can’t think of any off the top of my head.
