OMG

APE is the Alternative Press Expo. It’s held every year in April in San Francisco. It’s mostly for casual comic goers, no hardcore folk. …. Concerning Brian… I don’t think he’s dumb OR slow… but we’ll see what’s what soon enough.

brian is either much slow or just dumb :P

i saw the APE piccy
APE= artist production e…. something?

After this chapter is done, I’ll be accepting guest comics (though they may or may not be posted), plus I plan on going through and editing up the comics in this chapter. Mostly bits of bad dialogue that could use editing. Plus, most importantly, I’m gonna start spending some cash on advertising on other sites. I gotta put together some nifty banners first, the ones I got right now are too plain, and since APE I’ve felt compelled to making extremely flashy ways to get people to visit my site (or booth). … Anyways, I’ll be taking care of all that probably by the end of next week (since I have only three comics left).

OMG!

But really, this is kinda funny. The same thing just happened to one of my friends. Except the other girl had short hair. It’s like MR is coming alive! Now I hope I find my cat (who I havent seen for about 3 weeks) stuffed and full of money soon. :P

HAHA!! Made you

I had something in mind that I was gonna say, but I can’t remember what it was.

Well, one of the things you could do is check out is my APE pictures. I also wrote up an introspective APE report. Woot!

Sooner or later the rest will pop back to memory.

OH YEAH! I really ought to check out other conventions. Maybe some of the smaller ones that cost surprizingly less than some of the bigger ones. True, the foot traffic is less, but it might just be enough to sell enough comics in. There are a ton in SF alone, and a few elsewhere within driving distance. I’d better check them out soon…

Also, the end of chapter 2 is just four comics away. So far 33 pages have been made, and I’m planning four more (just so it can fit nicely in a mini-comic format). Unfortunately, I don’t think I have much room for everything I want to put in it, so I’ll unfortunately have to save the rest of it for another party later on (namely the Cheyenne Shooters).

Hey Emo…

I’m still working on my APE 2006 review and analysis. Monday I spent all day catching up with school and shit. Bleh.

To those of you who are visiting Moose River after learning about it at APE…. WELCOME ABOARD! I hope you enjoy my web comic! :D … As for those who have been around for a whole, APE was a blast, even though I didn’t sell a whole lot of mini-comics (sixteen to be exact). But that’s OK… a full analysis and pictures will make its way online soon. In the mean time I wanna give a shout out to my booth neighbor, National Press Comics!

noooo DDDDx

well its not like its the end of the world…

good luck on the assignment x]

Plippy (Apr 5, 2006, 17:43):
I don’t think I can get any more comics in until next Monday. I’ve got two things that require a majority of my time: The Alternative Press Expo and a rather large programming assignment due by before 12:01 AM Monday Morning. So…… sorry guys! :(

DING DONG!

WOAH! Check it out, it’s Dan’s party! … It’s a nice change of pace after having drawn Avery, Anne and Shea almost all the time.

Just FYI, everyone in this scene, including one or two people not exactly visible, will be part of the story… with a varying degree of importance to the story. I won’t get into detail of who’s who, but their names are:

Dan(ielle) Lake, Claire Brady, Theresa Lusk, Heath Rougher, Samantha Pahin, Evelyn Brown, Fritz Bledsoe, Cody Schoenen, Virgil Natapeha, Fekla Fedosja, Stacy Boons, Metrois Sojiltz, and Kasona Agrippina.

If spam emails are useful for one thing, it’s letting me find places to get new names from.

Plippy (Apr 5, 2006, 2:40):
Yeah, Metrois is a really cool name. It’s so French. “Mehtwah”. Metrois.

Timbosister (Apr 4, 2006, 8:16):
I vote for Virgil and Metrois as their names are the Most Cool.
