Compare with the updated version; I tightened everything up and took out extra useless bits, like the second story panel and the bit about “Richard Ford the Rapist”… none of that really added anything to the story.

Another thing to note was how Avery’s claim that he lied about not knowing where he got Mr. Whiskers was just me trying to retcon a previous frame, but all it does is just make it sound forced. This was just one of many things which convinced me to take the “George Lucas” approach and simply rewriting and editing older pages so these kinds of awkward statements wouldn’t be necessary.
